Using Snagbox

Snagbox is provided by Matthew Dickerson (“we”). By creating an account or using the app or this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Snagbox.

You need an Apple ID to sign in. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your devices secure.

Spaces, roles and content

A space belongs to the person who created it (the owner). The owner decides who is staff and who is a tester, and can remove anyone. Staff can triage reports and moderate content. Testers can report, vote, comment and verify. Each space may set its own beta terms, which you accept when you join and again whenever they change.

You keep ownership of what you post. You give us and the members of the space the right to store and display it for the purpose of running that space. Developers: the reports, screenshots and ideas your testers post are shared with you for the purpose of improving your app; treat them accordingly.

Acceptable use

Snagbox has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. Do not post anything unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that you do not have the right to share. Do not use Snagbox to distribute malware, to harvest other members’ details, or to circumvent Apple’s TestFlight terms.

Members can report content and block other members. Staff of a space and we ourselves may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules, without notice.

Your App Store Connect key

If you connect an App Store Connect API key, it stays in your device’s Keychain and is used by your device alone. You are responsible for the key and for what your account is permitted to do at Apple. Revoke it at Apple whenever you like.

Beta software

Snagbox is itself in beta. It may change, break or be withdrawn. We do our best to keep your data safe but make no promise that the service will be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, Snagbox is provided “as is” and we are not liable for loss arising from its use, including loss of data or of the apps being tested.

Paid plans

Snagbox is free during the beta. If paid plans are introduced, they will be sold through the App Store under Apple’s terms, with prices shown before you buy and the free tier described on this site.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms. Sections about content, acceptable use and liability survive the end of your account.

The site is provided for information. Its text and images are ours unless stated; screenshots show the app with demonstration data. App Store, TestFlight and App Store Connect are trademarks of Apple Inc.; Snagbox is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple.
